Learning at Dragons Nursery

Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and focuses on holistic, play-based learning. Children develop through exploration, imagination, and time spent in nature.

  • A Unique Child – every child is capable and confident
  • Positive Relationships – secure and nurturing connections
  • Enabling Environments – spaces that inspire exploration
  • Learning & Development – all areas are equally important and interconnected

Supporting All Children

Every child develops at their own pace. Our experienced team and SENDCo work closely with families to ensure all children reach their full potential through the Development Matters framework.

If you ever have concerns, we’re always here to listen and support.

Everyday Practicalities

Drinks & Snacks

Children bring a packed lunch and water bottle. We provide free milk and fruit snacks daily.

Clothing

Please bring a named coat, hat, wellies, and a change of clothes. Children spend part of every session outdoors, so practical clothing is essential.

Personal Care

We welcome all children, regardless of toileting stage. Please supply nappies, wipes, and barrier cream if needed.

Illness & First Aid

Our trained first aiders are always on site. Please keep children home for 48 hours after sickness to prevent the spread of illness.
